Trustees

Alex Howard – Alex Howard founded the charity Choreographers’ Gallery in 1999 with Diana Lewis (1923 - 2012, trustee and patron of Prema Arts Centre, Uley, Glos.) and was joined soon after by trustee Annie Warburton (currently Creative Director, Crafts Council). As a practising Independent Dance Artist Alex has worked for Rosemary Butcher, London Contemporary Dance School and with many esteemed colleagues. Her continuing passion is in dance research and composition.

Kirsty Alexander – Kirsty is a dancer, educator, and mentor. She was Head of Undergraduate Studies at Trinity Laban (2000–2005), Assistant Director of London Contemporary Dance School (2005–2010) and co-director of Independent Dance (2015–2018); and is a certified teacher of Skinner Releasing Technique.

Carolyn Roy – Carolyn Roy is a London-based dancer and writer with a performance practice of presenting what is happening as our bodies meet their continually shifting physical, social and cultural environment. How we encounter our world. Her work is concerned with attention, perception and relationships.

Andrew Solway – Andrew Solway is an Oxford-based dancer with a background in Contact improvisation and Tai Chi. He is involved in a number of collaborative initiatives in Oxford with other dancers, musicians and artists

Gaby Agis – Gaby Agis is a choreographer, teacher and dancer living in London, UK. She has been making performances for the past thirty-five years—both nationally and internationally—collaborating with artists from a host of fields: from architecture to opera to sculpture to film.
